“I Love my Hat!”
This lady loves her hat … and why not? It’s a sparkly vintage brooch that’s been repurposed. Part of an earlier French Ostrich series, each face has its own presence and personality—meant to be noticed and remembered. This is a completed collection, so it’s doubtful that any new pieces will be added.
The face is approximately 3″ tall and 2″ wide, and hangs from a 20″ cork cord with magnetic clasp.
Each piece in the French Ostrich Wearable Art Face Collection is “one-of-a-kind in series.” While the same face form may appear across the collection, every necklace varies slightly—through differences in paint, hair, chain, or embellishments. Each bracelet in this limited series is a wearable work of art, decoupaged with hand-selected artisan papers sourced from around the world. No two are ever alike—making each cuff a one-of-a-kind treasure.
This 3/4″ wide cuff is crafted on a flexible copper base for both comfort and durability. Here, the copper is transformed with marbled dark navy and silver Mobi paper from Thailand, applied using the centuries-old French art of decoupage. Layer upon layer has been carefully sealed over several days, creating a finish that is both striking and resilient.
To elevate the design, two textured cable links accent the bracelet and feature freshwater pearls and sparkling Czech rondelles. This subtle dangle adds a hint of elegance and playful movement.

The “cat paper” used to create this cuff was handcrafted Thailand.
Measuring 1.75″ wide, this cuff bracelet weights in at only a little more than half an ounce. When customers pick up these bracelets, they can hardly believe how lightweight they are.
Wear this bracelet all by itself, or add a couple of bangles, or even a chain bracelet. This cuff would be spectacular with just about anything you wear.
When donning this bracelet (or any cuff bracelet), be sure to slide the opening over the side of your wrist, and not the top or bottom. It’s somewhat adjustable, so you can squeeze it to make it a bit tighter, or open it a bit.
This cuff is great for travel: It makes a statement and is very easy to pack since it weights next to nothing. (You can pack it in a shoe!)
