Look closely and you’ll see these tassel necklaces, part of my Re-Fabulous collection, are made from spent bullet shells. (I purchased the shells from a local gun range. I love to upcycle pretty much anything and everything.) After painstakingly cleaning the bullet shells, I drilled holes in the top. Next I sealed the shells using two coats of a protective coating so the bullet shells would retain their luster and prevent tarnishing and oxidation.
The tassels themselves are crafted from old chain, much of it vintage, plus beads, Czechoslovakian crystal rondelles,bead caps, and whatever else strikes my fancy as I’m putting the tassel together. Each tassel hangs on a 24″ stainless steel ball chain, making the perfect tassel necklace!

Part of my Re-Fabulous collection, these earrings are made from vintage crystal beads that were salvaged from an old chandelier. Each pair undergoes a meticulous transformation process, starting with smashing the needles flat. They are then cut into various lengths, hammered to add texture, carefully filed, and drilled to perfection. After being tumbled for a few hours to smooth out any rough edges, they’re adorned with an array of charms, beads, mini-hoops, and vintage earrings for that final touch.
