Part of the French Ostrich “Voyageur” Collection, this cork bracelet converts to a choker. That’s right! You can wear it two ways: wrap it twice around your wrist for a bracelet, or wear it as a choker. The teal cork cord is adorned with either a silver or copper magnetic clasp and a bail that sports a lovely freshwater pearl dangle. The teal cork has tiny specs of red throughout the cord.
This is the perfect piece of jewelry to take with you when you travel. Not only is it versatile in that you can wear it two ways, but it’s super-lightweight at less than half an ounce, so it’s very easy to pack. The simple magnetic clasp means easy-on, easy-off.

“Dreamland”
This lovely lady is off in dreamland. She’s sporting a sparkly, repurposed vintage earring on her forehead! Part of an earlier French Ostrich series, each face has its own presence and personality—meant to be noticed and remembered. This is a completed collection, so it’s doubtful that any new pieces will be added.
The face is approximately 3″ tall and 2″ wide, and hangs from a 20″ cork cord with magnetic clasp.
Each piece in the French Ostrich Wearable Art Face Collection is “one-of-a-kind in series.” While the same face form may appear across the collection, every necklace varies slightly—through differences in paint, hair, chain, or embellishments. All pieces are crafted from clay, hand painted, and baked multiple times for durability.

Look closely and you’ll see these tassel necklaces, part of my Re-Fabulous collection, are made from spent bullet shells. (I purchased the shells from a local gun range. I love to upcycle pretty much anything and everything.) After painstakingly cleaning the bullet shells, I drilled holes in the top. Next I sealed the shells using two coats of a protective coating so the bullet shells would retain their luster and prevent tarnishing and oxidation.
The tassels themselves are crafted from old chain, much of it vintage, plus beads, Czechoslovakian crystal rondelles,bead caps, and whatever else strikes my fancy as I’m putting the tassel together. Each tassel hangs on a 24″ stainless steel ball chain, making the perfect tassel necklace!

This piece of wearable art is designed to get noticed. Set in her own dreamworld, this expressive face necklace carries a quiet sense of personality and presence—right down to the heart charm inscribed “He who holds the key can unlock my heart.”

The hand-sculpted face measures approximately 2″ and is affixed to a detailed brass stamping. Beads and charms dangle from the base of the stamping, bringing movement and dimension to the design. The full pendant measures approximately 4″ from top to bottom and hangs from a 28″ chain. (Please feel free to ask if you’d prefer the chain shortened.)
