The definition of assemblage is “a group of collected things.” In the art world, assemblage refers to putting together a group of objects into a unified whole. Several years ago, I was absolutely captivated by assemblage jewelry and have been making it ever since.

The vintage rhinestone earring with three dangles of rhinestone chain is the focus of this creation; it’s surrounded by components that are richly plated with a gorgeous silverware silverplate: three flowers with faux pearls at their centers, a curved leaf and a bird. The assemblage hangs from a silver plated rolo chain with silver filigree and quartz bead connectors.
